Clean the Countries Players
Online co-op is live. Roles beat a pile of uncoordinated avatars.
Karpath Games says you can clean alone or with friends. The universe snapshot backs that up: online multiplayer, max 20 players, no split-screen. This hub is about people, not binds. Binds live on Controls. Speed lives on How to Clean Faster. Times live on the leaderboard page. Full aisle splits live on the co-op guide.
Solo is still a player mode
A first session should be solo (Getting Started). You need to read silhouettes without someone yoinking Brazil. Once FILL 12 is comfortable, add one friend. Jumping into a 20-stack as a new player teaches you how to spectate a stampede.
Solo strengths: every piece you see is yours, Upgrade Cash is yours, no double-grab. Solo weakness: pass 3 mop happens after you are already tired of walking. That is why pets that mop specks are tempting — still buy carry first (tools tier list).
The three co-op roles
Runner. Lives in the centre pile. Only S-tier and A-tier countries (countries tier list). Drops at the aisle entrance, does not place.
Placer. Lives at the continent signs. Only places. Reads prompts so Ireland never lands in the Americas bay.
Mop. Clean tool only. Hold-click floors the others finished. Does not touch S-tier pieces unless a crumb is glued to the tile they are mopping.
Two players: one runner-placer hybrid on Americas + Europe, one on Asia + Africa + Oceania. Three players: add mop. Four: second runner. More than four on one map is usually worse unless you are filming a thumbnail.
Callouts that work
- Country name, then continent: “Pakistan, Asia”
- “USA is up” if you need it left for the runner
- “Bay full, mopping” so nobody delivers into a hold-click
- “Timer 0:40, crumbs only”
Do not call colours. Do not call “over here”. The hall looks the same in every direction under supermarket lights.
Etiquette on public servers
You do not own the instance. If strangers are already sorting, join an aisle that is empty instead of peeling their USA. If the FILL quota is already impossible, hop. Griefing by dumping pieces off-map is reportable on Roblox; it is also a waste of your own time.
Codes are per account. A friend redeeming does not fill your Cash. There are no verified public codes yet anyway.
Finding people
We have not confirmed an official Discord or Trello. Use Roblox party + the Karpath Games group, and ignore random invites in chat (Discord and Trello status). Scripts that “auto invite” are malware with extra steps (scripts).
What “good player” means here
A good player drops mistakes with F, reads continent prompts, and does not open Shop on 0:20 remaining. A famous player with a trail and a pet who double-grabs your France is not helping. Rank yourself on FILL completes per hour, not on avatar value.
When Karpath adds prestige, events, or extra maps, this hub will grow a roster page. Until then, roles plus the leaderboard guide are the whole social meta.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is Clean the Countries single-player only?
No. It is online co-op, up to 20 players. You can also play solo. There is no local split-screen.
How many friends should I invite?
One for your second session, two or three for timed runs. A full 20-player server is usually slower.
What role should a beginner take?
Placer on one continent, or solo. Do not mop first; you will never learn silhouettes.
Where do I find a team?
Roblox party and the Karpath Games group. We have not verified an official Discord — see official links.
