How to Complete FILL COUNTRIES in Clean the Countries

Quotas count parked silhouettes, not mopped tiles. Read the HUD, then run the three-pass.

How to Complete FILL Quotas

The HUD line that panics new players is FILL COUNTRIES. Live sessions stack several of them at once — FILL 25, FILL 12, FILL 2 — each with its own timer. Completing Clean the Countries means those quotas check off before the clock hits zero. This page is the missing how-to-complete guide. If you still mix pickup and hold-click, start with How to Play and Controls.

What FILL actually counts

FILL does not count how shiny the floor looks. It counts country pieces that landed on the correct continent shelf. You can mop the entire hall and still fail FILL 2 because two islands are sitting in someone’s inventory or under Brazil.

When a piece is in your hand, the prompt shows a name and a continent (Liberia / Africa, Pakistan / Asia). That continent must match the overhead sign. Flag colour is a trap. The countries tier list lists giants that hide crumbs.

Stacked quotas all have to finish. Clearing FILL 25 and ignoring FILL 2 is a failed run, not a cheeky personal best. The leaderboard treats “all complete” as the time that matters.

Read the HUD at spawn

Before you take a step:

  1. Note every FILL number and its timer.
  2. Check Inventory so you are on grab, not the cleaner.
  3. Glance at Cash — you will spend it after pass 1, not during the last 20 seconds. See Pets and Cash.
  4. If you have friends, claim aisles out loud (co-op).

Servers hold up to 20 players. A full public instance may already have FILL 25 half done and the remaining crumbs scattered. Hop if the quota looks doomed. Karpath still lists online co-op, not split-screen; VIP servers were not enabled on the universe snapshot from 13 September 2026.

The complete-quota route

Pass 1 — giants. United States, China, Brazil, Russia, India, Australia, Canada. They uncover FILL 2 crumbs and they are instant to name. Park them immediately. Do not collect a backpack of maybes.

Pass 2 — aisle walk. One continent at a time. Use the continent signs cheat-sheet: Americas, Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania. Pick up to force the name plate if the floor is noisy.

Pass 3 — mop. Switch tools with number keys. Hold-click / hold LT only on floors you just used. Cleaning spawn tiles ten times does not increment FILL.

This is the same three-pass as How to Clean Faster, aimed at quota complete instead of raw speed.

Why FILL 2 survives until 0:03

  • A microstate is under a giant you never moved.
  • Two players double-grabbed the same USA and dropped it in an aisle.
  • You colour-sorted Ireland onto the Americas bay.
  • You are still holding the last island while you mop.
  • The piece is already on the wrong shelf and the quota cannot see it.

Drop with F / LT tap the moment a pickup feels wrong. Wrong continent? Walk, do not hope. The continent signs page is the lookup; this page is the timer.

Solo versus co-op completes

Solo: you own every miss. Do FILL 12 first (Getting Started), then FILL 25, then worry about stacked FILL 2.

Two players: split Americas+Europe versus Asia+Africa+Oceania.

Three players: add a mop who never touches S-tier pieces.

More than four on one map usually slows FILL because of collisions. A 20-stack is a party, not a record (players).

What not to open during a quota

  • Shop cosmetics and Pets windows — pets tier list after the toast.
  • Codes — still zero verified public strings as of this snapshot (codes).
  • Executor auto-fill — none listed for place 93529731049611 (scripts).
  • Random Discord invites (links).

After the toast

Screenshot the complete line. Spend Cash on carry and range (tools tier list). Then either hop for a clean pile or stay and mop vanity specks. Karpath’s last universe touch on this snapshot was 13 September 2026; visits were about 772K with roughly 3.6K playing. Those vanity numbers move. The FILL rule does not: park the right silhouette, then clean.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does mopping the floor complete FILL COUNTRIES?

No. FILL counts pieces on the correct continent shelf. Mop after they are parked.

Can several FILL timers run at once?

Yes. Live HUDs stack FILL 25, 12, and 2. All of them have to finish.

What if the floor looks empty but FILL 2 remains?

Check inventories, aisle floors, and the undersides of giants. See the countries tier list.

Should I buy pets mid-timer?

No. Finish the quota, then read Pets and Cash.
