How to Play Clean the Countries

Clean the Countries is easy to misread. The Roblox page talks about cleaning the world; the actual session is a scavenger hunt inside a bright indoor hall. Country-shaped flag pieces cover the floor. Overhead signs name continents. A timer asks you to FILL a quota of countries. Cash ticks up when you park pieces. Shop, Upgrade, Inventory, and Pets sit on the HUD. This page is the full loop after Getting Started. If you only wanted binds, use Controls instead.

The win condition

You are not painting a globe. You are emptying the floor onto the correct shelves before the FILL timer expires. Live sessions show stacked objectives such as FILL 25 COUNTRIES, FILL 12, and FILL 2 running together. Large silhouettes (United States, China, Brazil, Russia, India, Australia) are worth grabbing first because they are easy to name and they unblock the tiny pieces underneath. Tiny islands hide. That is why the countries tier list exists.

A “clean” floor still needs hold-click. Karpath lists Hold Click (PC) and Hold LT (controller) as the clean action. Do that after a bay is filled, not while you are carrying France in your hand.

The four HUD columns

Footage of this place shows four persistent buttons:

• Shop — spends Cash. Open it when the FILL timer is not in the last 20 seconds.
• Upgrade — the T-key / Y-button cluster on the official bind sheet. Reach and carry first.
• Inventory — confirms which tool is in your hand so you do not try to place with the cleaner equipped.
• Pets — optional helpers. Do not buy a pet before you can finish a FILL 12 without dying to the clock. See the tools tier list for spend order.

Cash is the session currency shown next to your country counter. Treat it as fuel for reach, not as a score. The score that matters is FILL completion and, later, leaderboard time.

Grab, read, walk, park

1. Face a piece until the country name and continent pop (gameplay clips show strings such as Liberia / Africa and Pakistan under an ASIA sign).
2. Pickup with E / click / RT / tap.
3. Turn until you see the matching continent sign. Do not sort by flag colour. Ireland, Italy, and Mexico will gaslight you.
4. Place with the same pickup button. If the piece rejects the bay, you have the wrong continent or you are still holding the cleaner.
5. Drop with F / LT if you grabbed the neighbour by accident.

Number keys switch tools. If place does nothing, you are on the clean tool. Switch back, then place. The controls finder is the cheat-sheet version of this paragraph.

Special (G) and equipment (T)

G fires the special ability. Use it on a buried cluster, not on a lone easy piece. T opens equipment unlocks. Buy the upgrade that shortens walks: longer grab, extra carry, or faster clean. Trails and name tags do not complete FILL 25.

Co-op rules of the loop

Online co-op is on, max 20 players. More people is not automatically faster. Two players who both hunt Europe will double-grab the same Germany and drop it into a pile again. Call continents in chat: “I have Asia”, “you take Americas”. If a third friend joins, they own leftover clean, not a third continent war. The players hub expands those roles.

Private servers are not listed as a paid option on the universe snapshot we pulled. Public servers are the default. If your FILL timer is already doomed because the floor was vacuumed by a 20-stack, hop and start a fresh quota.

What “complete the countries” means

Players search “how to complete” and “how to find”. Completion is:

• Every FILL quota on the current map hits zero or checks off
• Shelves look like the tidy library shot (country-coloured volumes, globe cart)
• Floor specks are hold-click cleaned so the timer does not fail on leftover dirt

There is no secret back room in the footage we have. If a piece is missing, it is under another silhouette or already in someone else’s hands. Walk the aisles, do not restart.

Session recipe

1. Spawn, drop (F), check Inventory.
2. Read the FILL quotas.
3. Sweep large silhouettes toward their continent signs.
4. Open Upgrade once, buy reach or carry.
5. Fill leftover small countries.
6. Hold-click the floors you just used.
7. Only then open Pets or Shop cosmetics.
